Our fees vary depending on our assessment of the amount of time we will need to devote to your project and the particular mix of expertise it will require. An initial consultation is free and our rates can be set per hour or in bulk. We charge less for a not-for-profit venture, such as a podcast serving a charitable, arts or educational purpose.
What you can expect
- A fixed fee for developing your podcast: format, music, length, structure, workflow, style, piloting, etc. If you already know exactly what you want, we may be able to skip this step, but generally speaking, most people need this. It could take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to get this put together, depending on how ambitious your project is and how much time you have to devote to the process.
- An hourly fee for short-term work such as producing individual episodes, recording interviews, editing audio tape, researching topics and writing questions, structuring episodes, etc. You will always know what you're paying ahead of time, so there will be no surprises.
- A fixed monthly or per-episode fee for a long-term, complex project (i.e. an eight-episode narrative project that will take six months to a year to produce, or a casual talk podcast on a specific topic that is ongoing and put out once a week).
